Product Overview
In powder and liquid mixtures, conventional mixers are unable to uniformly blend the materials within a short period of time. Particularly in high-speed mixing of powders with small amounts of liquid, it's prone to form particles of a specific particle size, with severe agglomeration between inorganic particles. Standard mixers cannot provide high shear action, are suitable only for larger particle size solids, and cannot handle clumped particles. Moreover, typical mixing equipment generally lacks the sufficient shear force to disperse them, making it difficult to add treatment agents for processing. Additionally, liquid treatment agents may not effectively contact the particles, resulting in poor dispersion. When inorganic particles come into contact with liquid treatment agents, they agglomerate further, leading to suboptimal treatment. The high-shear solid-liquid mixer is a high-speed shearing, blending, continuous production machine with no dead spots, fast discharge, easy cleaning, and capability to heat or cool the solid-liquid mixture. It consists of dozens of mixing blades, a powder quantitative feeding device, a liquid measuring device, heating and cooling units, and forms a fully automatic production line. During the mixing process, powder materials are metered, heated, and dehydrated before being continuously fed into the mixing chamber. Simultaneously, liquids are sprayed into the heated powder through a metering pump for high-shear mixing. With the mixing chamber's high-speed shearing at tens of thousands of times per minute, the rapid mixing ensures uniformity down to one in ten million.

Product Features
The high-shear mixer for solid-liquid mixtures is primarily used for the surface treatment of inorganic particles. The inorganic particles treated in this manner can achieve a grade of dispersion in polymer/inorganic particle composites, which results in mechanical properties several times higher than those of polymer/inorganic particle composites prepared from untreated inorganic particles. It ensures uniform dispersion of the surface treatment agent, promotes contact with the particles, leading to excellent surface treatment of the inorganic particles. Additionally, it reduces the amount of treatment agent, shortens mixing time, saves energy consumption, and most importantly, provides good particle coating.
