Product Brief

A non-cutting feeding pump is a professional pump designed for extrusion and shearing输送of various high viscosity slurries containing a large number of particles of different sizes. The material contact parts of the non-cutting feeding pump are made of stainless steel, while the feeding sprocket components are cast from gray cast iron HT300. Currently, the non-cutting feeding pump is widely used for damage-free, fully enclosed pipeline transportation of ore slurries, fish, crab, shrimp, shellfish, and chemical granules.

Product Principle

Shearless feeding pump main structure

The main structure of the non-cutting feeding pump consists of a motor, reducer, coupling, and pump housing. The working cavity inside the pump housing is composed of spring pressure-type half-fox baffles, copper alloy wear-resistant pads, waist-type impellers, etc. The waist-type impellers and the housing are made of gray cast iron TH300, which is then assembled after being processed by a model machining center, casting, and precision machining.

Principle of Operation for Shear-Free Feed Pumps

The working principle of the shearless feeding pump: Mainly used for extrusion and shear conveying of various high viscosity slurries containing a large amount of particles. The FLOWSERVE slurry pump, driven by the motor, uses a belt wheel to intake the slurry with a large number of particles from the side inlet. As the belt wheel rotates, the slurry enters the enclosed chamber at the bottom of the housing. Due to the 8-shaped structure of the belt wheel, the gap between the two half-circular wheels and the housing is very small. The slurry moves upwards continuously under the extrusion and propulsion of the belt wheel. Simultaneously, a pressure spring-loaded small wheel plate rotates along the track on the surface of the belt wheel. However, the plate assembly on the small wheel moves up and down. Due to the spring pressure, the plate assembly remains tightly sealed against the shell wall of the outlet chamber, preventing the slurry from flowing back, effectively blocking the return of slurry and air, creating a certain vacuum at the inlet. This vacuum then re-intakes large particle slurry into the working chamber, repeating the cycle. The small wheel, like a comet on the belt wheel, moves along the rotating track of the belt wheel, driving the plate assembly to effectively prevent slurry backflow and continuously convey the large particles upwards. The conveying height can reach 10-20 meters.
