DR-KT Quenching Oil Additive Introduction

DR-KT Quenching Oil Additive from Nantong Derun Company is designed for use in quenching oils where there is a decrease in quenching cooling capacity, reduction in hardening layer depth, and lower antioxidant properties after prolonged use. It is ideal for applications requiring high luster on workpieces after quenching.

DR-KT Quenching Oil Additive Features

1. Quenching oil additive enhances the film-breaking temperature of quenching oil, shifting the characteristic temperature upwards.

2. Reduce the flow temperature to increase the "opening" during the boiling stage, thereby shortening the entire cooling time.

3. Prevents the formation of large gelatinous clusters of oxidation products, replacing non-soluble deposits adhered to the surface of parts, thereby enhancing the luster of the part surface.

4. Quenching oil additives reduce foam in the quenching oil and enhance its resistance to aging.

DR-KT Quenching Oil Additive Usage Method

When using DR-KT quenching oil, since the additive is a polymer with a large molecular chain, it is in a thick liquid state at room temperature. Direct addition can lead to insufficient dissolution of the additive, resulting in unnecessary waste. Therefore, it should be heated before use.

Additives must be maintained at 60℃~80℃ and kept warm for approximately 6 hours. Then, add them according to the manufacturer's specified ratio, and stir thoroughly for over 12 hours to ensure complete dissolution.

Packaging and Storage

Products passed the factory inspection should be used within twelve months; if not used within the deadline, they can only be used after passing the re-inspection.

DR-KT Quenching Oil Additive is packaged in 200-liter iron drums or 25kg plastic drums, for indoor storage (temperature 5-40°C).
