1: The foundation requirements for installing plastic storage tanks include a level platform that can withstand the corresponding pressure. If using steel structures, the gaps should not be too large, and wooden or iron plates should be laid on top. Check for any nails or sharp objects in the wooden plates to prevent damage to the tank. Concrete can also be used as the base, which should be smooth and level. For ordinary muddy ground, wooden plates can be used as a base to increase strength and pressure.

2: When storing chemical substances in PE plastic tanks (first communicate with the manufacturer to order reinforced tanks), upon arrival at the site, there should be adequate drainage ditches and dilution equipment around the perimeter, or leak detection systems, etc.

After the plastic storage tank is installed, it should be promptly checked for the sealing performance of the joints during the usage period. If conditions permit, adding liquid above the joint area can help observe for any leakage. However, when storing different liquids such as strong acids, alkalis, and high-temperature chemicals, metal reinforcing sleeves can be used as necessary to limit the expansion and deformation of the tank, thereby preventing bottom expansion and achieving a safely enclosed storage tank.

When the liquid inlet is higher from the bottom of the tank, the inlet should be bent towards the tank wall to allow the liquid to flow down along the wall, reducing the impact of the liquid directly onto the tank bottom.
