Overview

The Deep Penetration Welding Technique (DP-TIG) is a new, efficient automatic welding method that addresses issues such as the low arc stiffness, shallow penetration, and low welding efficiency of traditional TIG welding.

DP-TIG welding is suitable for single-sided welding and double-sided forming of 2-12mm stainless steel plates and 2-8mm carbon steel plates.

Process Features

● Full penetration welding method, complete the entire welding process without backside backing, and good backside shaping.

● High arc stiffness, deep weld penetration;

● Low requirements for打底焊 joint spacing and misalignment.

● The tolerance for misalignment gaps in workpiece assembly is large.

Compared to plasma welding processes, without plasma gas control, operation is simpler.

● Compared to plasma welding, arc control is simpler, and the welding is more reliable.
