Principle of operation for the cantilever double helix mixer:

The hopper has a conical shape with two asymmetric lifting screws inside. During material mixing, the two screws rotate independently to exert lifting forces on the material. The material moves along with the screws to the upper part of the hopper, converging into the center indentation and falling down to fill the empty space at the bottom of the mixer. It then receives lifting from the screws, forming a reciprocating process. The arm rotates slowly along the cylinder wall, pushing the material that hasn't entered the screws, allowing it to enter at different heights along the screw column. This enables the material inside the hopper to be mixed and stirred, accelerating the renewal and diffusion of the material.

Structure Introduction:

The double helix conical blender is a fixed-type container blender. It is mainly composed of a transmission system, two inclined screws, a swing arm, a drum, and a discharge valve. The two working screws are parallel to the generatrix of the conical drum and symmetrically distributed on both sides of the cone centerline, converging at the bottom of the cone and connected to the center pull rod. The discharge valve has a simple structure, occupies no space, and the size of the discharge opening can be freely controlled. It is easy to operate, the material can be completely discharged, and it can be easily disassembled and cleaned, thus being conducive to cleaning and maintaining the equipment.

In summary, the double-spiral cone mixer features non-damaged particles, no heat-induced spoilage, and no separation or stratification, making it highly applicable for powder mixing in industries such as dyes, chemicals, petrochemicals, metallurgy, glass, and gelatin.
