Planetary mixer

Planetary mixers are categorized into single-planet mixers, double-planet mixers, planetary power mixers, double-planet power mixers, and double-planet dual-power mixers.

This series of equipment is primarily used for the dissolution, dispersion, mixing, blending, and reaction processes of powders into high-viscosity and high-density materials. Different types of agitators (such as helical blade and multi-blade) can be selected according to various production processes and material characteristics.

Performance Features:

The temperature probe on the drive shaft ensures that the material temperature error is less than ±1°C; the jacket, bottom jacket, and jacket inner coil, as well as the flow plate, can achieve cooling. The impeller in the tank uses a variable frequency drive (variable frequency motor) for both orbiting and self-rotating speeds, allowing for different rotational speeds based on various processes and viscosities. The speed measurement system directly provides the current rotational speed of the impeller.

This mixer is a dead-point-free blending unit. The active gua blade on the planetary frame and the gua blade at the bottom of the agitator continuously scrape off materials from the inner wall and the bottom of the drum, ensuring thorough mixing of the material. The mechanical seal of the transmission components and the soft seal between the upper and lower drums allow for mixing under vacuum conditions, with a vacuum level of ≤-0.096, to prevent foaming of the material and remove air components. The inner wall of the drum is precision-machined to ensure the gua blade can scrape off materials from the inner wall. The drum is equipped with both heating and cooling methods. The heating drum can be heated by electrical, steam, or oil-water circulation heating, with the customer choosing as needed. The drum body is equipped with temperature control devices to ensure the material temperature; it employs hydraulic lifting and lowering.

The planetary mixer is equipped with low-speed stirring components and high-speed dispersing components. The low-speed stirring components utilize a planetary gear drive, where the stirrer rotates in both a circular motion and an axial rotation, causing the material to move up, down, and around, achieving ideal mixing results in a shorter period. The high-speed dispersing components rotate together with the planetary frame and also spin at high speed, subjecting the material to intense shearing and dispersing, yielding several times the effectiveness of a standard mixer. The dispersing components are available in single and double dispersing shafts, allowing customers to choose according to their needs; both the low-speed stirring blades inside the reactor and the high-speed dispersing heads use variable frequency speed control, enabling different speeds to be selected based on various processes and different viscosities.
