Flanges are parts that connect shafts to each other, used for joining pipe ends; there are also flanges used at equipment inlets and outlets for connecting two devices, such as reducer flanges. Flange connections or flange joints refer to the detachable connections formed by the combination of flanges, gaskets, and bolts, also known as flange bosses or rings.

Flange Usage: Flanges are always used in pairs. For low-pressure pipelines, threaded flanges can be used, while for pressures above 4 kg, welding flanges are recommended. Place a gasket between the two flange disks and then securely fasten them with bolts. Flanges of different pressures have varying thicknesses, and they require different bolts as well.
