Three-way connectors, also known as pipe tees, tee pipes, and tee fittings, among others, primarily serve to alter the direction of fluids. They are commonly installed at branch points in main pipelines and can be categorized according to the size of the pipe diameter. Common materials include carbon steel, alloy steel, stainless steel, and PVC.

Three-way connectors are used for pipe fittings and pipeline connections. Also known as Tee pipe fittings or Tee connectors, they are employed at the point where a main pipeline branches off.

A three-way is a type of pipeline fitting with three openings: one inlet and two outlets; or two inlets and one outlet. It comes in T-shaped and Y-shaped designs, with both equal and unequal diameter openings, and is used at junctions where three identical or different pipelines converge. The primary function of a three-way is to alter the direction of fluid flow.

Three-way hot pressing forming involves flattening a pipe blank larger than the three-way diameter to approximately the size of the three-way diameter, then creating a hole at the point where the branch pipe is to be stretched. The pipe blank is heated, placed into a forming mold, and a punch mold for stretching the branch pipe is inserted inside.

Under pressure, the billet is radially compressed, during which the metal flows towards the branch pipe and forms the branch under the stretching action of the die. The entire process is shaped through the radial compression of the billet and the stretching of the branch section.
