Three-way fittings, also known as pipe tees, tee pipes, and tee connectors, etc., primarily function to alter the direction of fluids. They are typically installed at the branching points of main pipelines and can be categorized according to the size of the pipe diameter. Common materials include carbon steel, alloy steel, stainless steel, and PVC, etc.

Three-way fittings are pipe fittings used for connecting pipes. Also known as three-way pipe fittings, three-way connectors, they are used where the main pipeline needs to branch off.

A three-way is a type of piping fitting with three openings: one inlet and two outlets; or two inlets and one outlet. It comes in T and Y configurations, with both equal and unequal diameter outlets, and is used at junctions where three pipes, either identical or different, converge. The primary function of a three-way is to alter the direction of fluid flow.

Three-way hot forming involves flattening a pipe blank larger than the three-way diameter to approximately the size of the three-way diameter and then drilling a hole at the location for the extension branch. The pipe blank is heated, placed into the forming mold, and a punch mold for the extension branch is inserted inside the pipe blank.

Under pressure, the billet is radially compressed, during which the metal flows towards the branch and forms the branch under the stretching action of the die. The entire process is shaped through the radial compression of the billet and the stretching of the branch section.
