Three-way connectors, also known as pipe tees, tee pipes, and tee joints, among others, are primarily used to alter the direction of fluids. They are typically installed at the branching points of main pipelines and can be categorized by the size of the pipe diameter. Common materials include carbon steel, alloy steel, stainless steel, and PVC.

Three-way connectors are pipe fittings and pipe connection components. Also known as three-way pipe fittings or three-way connectors, they are used at the point where the main pipeline needs to branch off.

A three-way is a chemical pipeline fitting with three openings: one inlet and two outlets; or two inlets and one outlet. It comes in T-shaped and Y-shaped designs, with both equal and unequal diameter outlets, used at the junctions where three pipes, either identical or different, converge. The primary function of a three-way is to alter the direction of the fluid flow.

Three-way hot forming involves flattening a pipe blank larger than the three-way diameter to approximately the diameter of the three-way, then creating a hole at the point where the branch pipe is to be stretched. After heating, the pipe blank is placed into a forming mold, and a punch mold for stretching the branch pipe is inserted inside.

Under pressure, the billet is radially compressed, during which the metal flows towards the branch pipe and forms the branch under the stretching action of the die. The entire process is shaped through the radial compression of the billet and the stretching of the branch section.
