Three-way connectors, also known as pipe tees, tee pipes, and tee fittings, etc., are primarily used to change the direction of fluids. They are commonly installed at the branch points of main pipelines and can be categorized according to the diameter of the pipes. Common materials include carbon steel, alloy steel, stainless steel, and PVC.

Three-way connectors are pipe fittings and pipe connection components. Also known as three-way pipe fittings or three-way fittings, three-way joints, used where the main pipeline needs to branch off.

A three-way is a chemical pipeline fitting with three openings: one inlet and two outlets; or two inlets and one outlet. It comes in T-shaped and Y-shaped designs, with both equal and unequal diameter pipe ends, used at junctions where three identical or different pipelines converge. The primary function of a three-way is to alter the fluid direction.

The tri-clamp hot forming process involves flattening a tube blank larger than the tri-clamp diameter to approximately the tri-clamp size, then drilling a hole at the point where the extension branch is to be formed. The tube blank is heated, placed into a forming mold, and a punch mold for the extension branch is inserted inside.

Under pressure, the billet is radially compressed, during which the metal flows towards the branch and forms the branch under the stretching action of the punch mold. The entire process is shaped through the radial compression of the billet and the stretching of the branch section.
