Three-way fittings, also known as pipe tees, tee pipes, and tee connectors, etc., are primarily used to alter the direction of fluid flow. They are commonly installed at the branching points of main pipelines and can be categorized by the size of the pipe diameter. Common materials include carbon steel, alloy steel, stainless steel, and PVC, etc.

Three-way connectors are pipe fittings and pipe connectors. Also known as three-way pipe fittings or three-way connectors, they are used where the main pipeline needs to branch off.

A three-way fitting is a type of industrial pipe fitting with one inlet and two outlets; or two inlets and one outlet. It comes in T-shaped and Y-shaped designs, with both equal and unequal diameter pipe ends, used at junctions where three identical or different pipelines converge. The primary function of a three-way fitting is to alter the flow direction.

The tri-gate hot forming process involves flattening a tube blank larger than the tri-gate diameter to approximately the size of the tri-gate diameter, then creating a hole at the point where the branch pipe is to be stretched. The tube blank is heated, placed into the forming mold, and a punch mold for stretching the branch pipe is inserted inside.

Under pressure, the billet is radially compressed, during which the metal flows towards the branch pipe and forms the branch under the stretching of the die. The entire process is shaped through the radial compression of the billet and the stretching of the branch section.
