Rubber Pad Fabrication

Rubber gaskets feature oil, acid-base, cold-heat resistance, and aging resistance, and can be cut into various shapes for sealing purposes. They are widely used in industries such as electronics, chemicals, static dissipative, flame-retardant, and food processing.

(1) Rubber Flat Washers: Easy to deform, require minimal effort to tighten, but have poor pressure and temperature resistance; suitable only for low-pressure and low-temperature environments. Natural rubber has some acid and alkali resistance, with a maximum use temperature of 60℃; neoprene can withstand certain acids and alkalis, with a use temperature of 80℃; nitrile rubber is oil-resistant, usable up to 80℃; fluororubber has excellent corrosion resistance and better temperature resistance than general rubber, usable in media up to 150℃.

(2) Rubber Sealing Washers: The cross-section shape is circular, with a certain degree of self-tightening action, better sealing performance than flat washers, and less clamping force.

Rubber gaskets are widely used in industries such as automotive, electronics, chemicals, antistatic, flame-retardant, food, and various mechanical and electrical equipment, serving functions like cushioning, sealing, and buffering.

Rubber gaskets are available in both molded and cut types. The molded ones are formed using hydraulic molding machines and molds, while the cut ones are produced by rubber gasket cutting machines. Compared to molding, cutting saves material but is more limited, as a single mold can only produce one type of gasket. Cutting machines can handle sizes up to 1500mm, but have lower material utilization rates.
