The corrugated sheet is suspended on the upper guide rod between the plates. Moving the movable clamping plate tightens the sheet assembly, and then a set of clamping bolts secures the fixed and movable clamping plates to a specific size. Both media enter their respective channels formed by the corrugated sheets through flange holes in the fixed (or movable) clamping plates, undergo heat exchange, and then exit through the flange holes in the fixed (or movable) clamping plates. The fixed clamping plate, movable clamping plate, pillar, and guide rods are all made of low-carbon steel. To accommodate various user requirements, the frame is designed in multiple configurations, primarily including double-support frame style and common floor-standing styles, and can also be modified to meet specific user requirements. Heat transfer plates are one of the core components of plate heat exchangers. The corrugated plates are formed in a single pressing process, with a rational corrugation design that increases the effective heat transfer area of the plates. This design causes fluid to flow in turbulence as it passes through the corrugations, enhancing the heat transfer process. During assembly, the corrugations intersect to form numerous contact resistance points, significantly increasing the rigidity of the plate assembly, enabling it to withstand higher pressures. Each plate acts as a heat transfer surface, with cold and hot fluids passing through on either side under the action of a sealing gasket. The plates have four liquid distribution holes, with gaskets fitted around the holes and the plate edges to restrict fluid flow within the plate assembly. The plates create parallel channels that allow the two fluids inside to flow in opposite directions, optimizing heat exchange. The material for the corrugated plates includes industrial pure titanium TAl, suitable for seawater or other corrosive media; various grades of stainless steel, for freshwater, drinking water, oils, and other non-corrosive media. Sealing washers are installed in the sealing grooves of the corrugated plate, designed with a double-seal structure and featuring signal holes. In case of leakage from the secondary seal, the medium can escape through the signal holes outside the equipment, allowing for early detection and resolution of issues, thus preventing mixing of the two media. Different types of adhesives can be selected for the sealing washers depending on the fluid and operating temperature. *The middle section of the plate features a slot design that breaks the continuous corrugation inside the plate, adding a half-slot structure to alleviate the pressure on the plate, making the plate more uniform after forming and less prone to bending.
* The interlocking design of the panels involves pressing special mechanical interlocking structures at the corners of the panels, which improves the phenomenon of misalignment and leakage during assembly, making the assembly process more convenient and aesthetically pleasing.
All plate gaskets are sealed with a non-adhesive hook form, reducing operation and maintenance costs and facilitating repairs.
High thermal conductivity: The special wavy design on the heat transfer plates allows for strong turbulence in low flow rates, and the self-cleaning effect of the turbulence prevents the formation of dirt, resulting in a thermal conductivity of 3-5 times that of shell-and-tube heat exchangers.
*Economic Efficiency: Compared to shell-and-tube heat exchangers with the same heat transfer capacity, it offers lower investment, operating costs, and maintenance costs.
*Adjustability: Simply add or remove plates to meet the needs of process changes.
