Product Description
JS-8012 is a membrane biocide with strong bactericidal properties, primarily used in systems with severe algal and bacterial growth and relatively high COD, to prevent bacteria from contacting the reverse osmosis system. This biocide is oxidizing and must be used with a membrane system reducer to avoid excessive residual chlorine, which can cause oxidation and damage to some membrane elements, rendering them irreparable. The proportions of the active ingredient and the production process of this chemical are adjusted according to different water qualities and operating conditions.

● It is suitable for various reverse osmosis membranes, hollow fiber membranes, and nanofiltration membranes as well as ultrafiltration membranes.
This product is an oxidizing agent. During use, it is crucial to control the dosage and use it in conjunction with the reducing agent JS-8013 to protect non-oxidation-resistant membrane elements (such as Hydranautics, Dow, Koch, Toray, and CE Company's osmonics membrane elements, etc.).
Instructions for Use
To achieve optimal sterilization time and effect, it is recommended to set the dosing point before the pretreatment stage, away from the reverse osmosis membrane system.
●JS-8012 Disinfectant is recommended for continuous dosing to maintain consistent medication levels.
●JS-8012 is fully miscible with water in any ratio. The specific dosage should be determined based on the quality of the water being treated, either calculated by the dosing software or consulted with our professional engineers.
Recommended materials for dosing equipment: stainless steel, polyethylene, PVC, or polytetrafluoroethylene; carbon steel is not recommended.
