Pingdingshan Highway Engineering Office Building Relocation Project

The building is a frame structure with a floor area of 6,825 square meters and weighs approximately 12,000 tons. The core section is 6 meters deep from the original foundation to prevent uneven settlement. Through technical verification and analysis, a new foundation has been added by manually segmented excavation. The bearing capacity has been increased by laying a track support from the bottom of the foundation. A PLC-controlled hydraulic synchronous displacement system is used, featuring rolling and sliding, dynamic monitoring, and the entire structure, including the foundation, has been moved westward by 26 meters. This represents the current advanced level of technology in the field of building displacement in China, being the "first synchronous displacement project with a foundation in China." The construction period was from April 2020 to July 2020, with a duration of 90 days.
