1) Adjust the design parameters of the expansion bellows and recommend designing the single-wavy tube as a double or multi-layer wavy tube to enhance the displacement compensation capacity of the bellows.
2) Reduce the wave height of the bellows expansion joint in metal compensators to minimize the forming stress of the bellows, as multi-layer bellows expansion joints can meet both the pressure-bearing capacity of the medium and the requirement to reduce the forming stress.
If the design parameters of the bellows expansion joint remain unchanged, a solid-setting treatment should be applied to the formed bellows expansion joint.
4) Add external anti-corrosion or protective devices to the buried corrugated pipe expansion joints.
5) Modify the expansion joint bellows material to a corrosion-resistant one, suitable for humid and hot environments in the south or environments with corrosive media.
