Performance Characteristics of the Spiral Conical Blender
The machine is suitable for solid (powder) - solid (powder) mixing (particle size 300-2000um) and solid (powder) - liquid (liquid content <15%) mixing. The special jacketed design also allows it to be used as a drying equipment. The working principle of the spiral cone mixer
The rapid self-rotation of the spiral shaft within the twin-screw cylinder elevates the material upwards, forming a helical flow along the cylinder wall from bottom to top. Simultaneously, the rotating arm drives the spiral shaft to rotate, causing the material outside the spiral shaft to enter the helical envelope at varying degrees. Some material is elevated out of place, while another part is ejected from the helix, thus achieving continuous material renewal and diffusion. The material elevated to the top converges into a central depression, creating a downward flow to fill the bottom void, thus forming a convectional cycle. Due to the combined flow of materials up and down, the material achieves uniform mixing in a short time, resulting in high mixing efficiency.
