Sodium bicarbonate (baking soda, NaHCO3) can be used as an adsorbent for flue gas desulfurization. It removes acidic pollutants from flue gas through chemical adsorption, and also removes some inorganic and organic trace substances through physical adsorption. This process involves directly spraying finely ground sodium bicarbonate into high-temperature flue gas. Under high temperatures, sodium bicarbonate decomposes into sodium carbonate (Na2CO3), water (H2O), and carbon dioxide (CO2).


The newly produced sodium carbonate (Na2CO3) exhibits a high reactivity upon formation, spontaneously reacting with acidic pollutants in flue gas as follows:


Generally, the flue gas temperature ranges between 140 and 250 °C. Due to the high activity of the sodium bicarbonate adsorbent, a slightly excessive amount of sodium bicarbonate (chemical factor between 1.1 and 1.3) is usually sufficient.


Sodium carbonate (soda, Na2CO3) can also be used in flue gas desulfurization, albeit with slightly lower reactivity, but the process flow remains largely unchanged.




II. Usage and Features




This machine is suitable for coal-fired power plants, waste or alternative fuel incineration plants, and can also be widely used in industrial furnaces for glass, cement, metallurgy, and other industries. Dry flue gas purification can economically meet flue gas emission standards and is used for solving flue gas pollution.


The features of this machine are as follows:


1. This is a vertical-axle crushing-type grinder that can simultaneously perform two processing steps: micro-pulverization and micro-powder sorting. 2. Utilizing the principle of air suction flow and a stepless speed regulator with grading impellers, the fineness of the product can be controlled without stopping the machine, and all the fine powder can be recycled, ensuring environmental protection. The machine features wind cooling, resulting in low temperature rise during grinding and uniform particle size of the product. 3. The lifting system combines the transmission principle with an automated system to achieve complete无人automation, energy-saving, safety, and pollution-free operation, while also conserving human resources.
