The function of the soda mixer


The steam-water mixer is designed to heat water by directly mixing steam, featuring low noise, no vibration, high heat exchange efficiency, and energy-saving properties. It is widely used in domestic and industrial heating applications.


In water heating and thermal deaeration systems, long-term operation has proven the product's excellent performance, especially with the matching supplies of elbows, various valves, instruments, pumps, and temperature control equipment provided by our company for the users.

2. Soda Dispenser Structure


The structure of the soda mixer mainly consists of parts such as the nozzle, housing, sieve plate, and gasket. When heated water passes through the nozzle, which is shaped like a Laval nozzle, steam passes through the outer side of the nozzle through many oblique small holes in the tube wall.


Holes inject into the water, where both are instantaneously well-mixed in high-speed flow to achieve the purpose of heating water. Adjusting the steam-side valve (manual or electric regulating valve) will yield the desired temperature of hot water.


3. Soda Blender Calculation Formula


For different models and specifications of the water/air mixer, to heat water to various temperatures, the required steam quantity under the rated flow rate D1 (t/h) can be calculated using the following formula:


D0=D1C1(T2-T1)/(i0"-C2T2)=D1(qT2-qT1)/(i"-C2T2)


Equation:


C1 - Specific heat of water at T1 temperature (KJ/Kg·℃)


C2 - Specific heat of water at T2 temperature (KJ/Kg·℃)


T1 - Water Temperature into Heater (°C)


Heated Water Temperature (℃)


Enter the saturated steam enthalpy (KJ/Kg) at pressure P0 of the heater
