304 stainless steel medium plate is a widely used type of chrome-nickel stainless steel. As a versatile steel, it boasts excellent corrosion resistance, heat resistance, low-temperature strength, and mechanical properties; it has good hot forming and bending properties without the phenomenon of heat treatment hardening (service temperature -196℃ to 800℃). It resists corrosion in the atmosphere; however, in industrial atmospheres or heavily polluted areas, it requires regular cleaning to prevent corrosion. It is suitable for food processing, storage, and transportation. It offers good machinability and weldability. Applications include plate heat exchangers, bellows, household items (tableware, cabinets, indoor piping, water heaters, boilers, bathtubs), automotive accessories (windshield wipers, mufflers, molded parts), construction materials, chemicals, food industry, agriculture, ship components, etc. 304 stainless steel is recognized as a food-grade stainless steel by the national standards.
