321 stainless steel sheet contains titanium as a stabilizing element, yet it is also a high-temperature-resistant steel grade, significantly outperforming 316L in terms of high-temperature capabilities. The 321 stainless steel sheet exhibits excellent wear and corrosion resistance in various concentrations and temperatures of organic and inorganic acids, particularly in oxidizing media. It is used for manufacturing wear-resistant acid containers and linings for wear-resistant equipment, as well as conveying pipelines. Its properties are very similar to those of 304, but the addition of titanium enhances its grain boundary corrosion resistance and high-temperature strength. The inclusion of titanium also effectively controls the formation of chromium carbides.
