1cr13

410 is a martensitic stainless steel with excellent hardenability, offering high hardness, toughness, good corrosion resistance, heat strength, and cold working properties. It also has good vibration dampening capabilities. It requires tempering at high or low temperatures, but it should be avoided to temper between 370-560℃.

Hardening at 550-580 degrees, water quenched, hardness HBS 254-362
Annealed at 520-560 degrees, water quenched, hardness HBS 341-388
Hardening below 300 degrees, air-cooled, hardness HBS greater than 388
Heat Treatment Process
● Heat treatment specifications and microstructure
Heat Treatment Specifications: 1) Annealing, slow cooling at 800-900℃ or rapid cooling at about 750℃; 2) Quenching, oil cooling at 950-1000℃; 3) Tempering, rapid cooling at 700-750℃.
Microstructure: Characterized by Martensitic morphology.
● Delivery Condition: Generally delivered in heat-treated condition, with the type of heat treatment specified in the contract; if not specified, delivered in non-heat treated condition.
●Application: For manufacturing parts that are resistant to mild corrosion and capable of bearing loads, such as turbine blades, hydraulic valve, bolts, nuts, etc. These are primarily used for components requiring high toughness, certain corrosion resistance, and the ability to withstand impact loads, including cutting tools, blades, fasteners, hydraulic valves, and equipment for sulfur corrosion resistance in thermal cracking. They can also be used for devices and components that can withstand mild corrosion media under normal temperature conditions.
