Belt Conveyor Drive Unit Introduction

The belt conveyor drive unit includes a drive motor, a hydraulic coupling, a reducer, a flexible pinion coupling, a ratchet, and a brake. The transmission system can be installed at the head, middle, or tail of the belt conveyor. It is an essential component of the belt conveyor and can be flexibly selected for installation based on requirements.

The motor drives the active drum through a high-speed shaft (hydraulic coupler), a reducer, and a low-speed shaft (rubber pinion coupling), utilizing the friction between the drum and the belt to rotate the belt.

Drivetrains can be categorized by the number of motors, including single-motor, dual-motor, and multi-motor drives; and by the number of driven drums, such as single-drum, dual-drum, and multi-drum drives. Each driven drum can be equipped with one or two drive units, with the ends of the driven drum shafts connected to the drive units via elastic pin joints.
