The tailings pond project of a gold mine in Hami City, Xinjiang, with a designed capacity of 1.6 million m³, has been filled and is no longer in operation. According to national regulations, an impermeability integrity test of the bottom geomembrane is required before ecological sealing. High-density resistivity method was used on-site, and data analysis revealed anomalies. Surrounding groundwater and soil testing data indicators are normal.
