Product Introduction

A floating baffle is a device that uses the buoyancy of water to move up and down, used to trap debris in drainage systems such as intercepting wells, bypass wells, and regulating ponds, preventing floating matter from upstream from entering natural water bodies.

Working Principle

The floating baffle consists of a buoy, guide slots, guide blocks, and stop blocks. The body ends of the buoy are connected to the guide blocks to form a buoy component, with the guide blocks at both ends of the buoy component sliding up and down within the guide slots. Due to the effects of buoyancy and gravity, half of the floating baffle is above water and the other half below. Water flows out from beneath the floating baffle, while surface debris is intercepted by the baffle, preventing it from entering the downstream. Stop blocks are positioned at the top of the guide slots to prevent the buoy from floating out of the guide slots.

Installation Method

This equipment features channel-type installation, with the side grooves secured to the wall using safety bolt anchors.
