Product Introduction
A flap gate is a one-way valve installed at the outlet of drainage pipes along riversides. When the river level is higher than the outlet pipe opening and the pressure is greater than the internal pipe pressure, the flap gate panel automatically closes to prevent the river water from backflowing into the drainage pipe. It can be customized for flanged pipe connection, wall connection, and pump station pipeline according to customer requirements.
The gate valve is mainly composed of four parts: valve seat, valve plate, sealing ring, and hinge. It comes in two shapes: round and square. Made of 304 material, it is installed at the end of the drainage pipe and serves as a check valve to prevent backflow of external water.
Application Scope
Suitable for water conservancy systems, municipal sewage, urban flood prevention and drainage, sewage treatment plants, waterworks, etc.
Door installation
The door flap installation can be done in the following ways: flange connection, concrete pouring. The deviation between the door flap and the channel should not exceed 3.0mm. A 400mm installation space should be left around the door flap. The lower part of the door flap outlet should be sloped at a 1:5 gradient.
