Product Description

Passive flow regulators for sponge city construction, black and smelly water body treatment, intelligent drainage, and other stormwater and wastewater separation projects. Installed at the effluent outlets of stormwater and wastewater separation wells, they automatically switch and separate rainwater and wastewater within the rainwater network, ensuring that the wastewater and a small amount of initial rainwater at the front end of the rainwater network enter the wastewater network, preventing the wastewater from flowing into rivers, lakes, and other natural water bodies, and at the same time, avoiding a large volume of rainwater entering the wastewater network to increase the load on wastewater treatment plants.

Principle of Operation

The product consists of a valve body, valve plate, and float box. During sunny weather or the early stages of rain, when the liquid level of the sewage well is low, the valve plate opens by the weight of the float box. The sewage outlet remains open, allowing wastewater from the rainwater network to flow into the sewage network. As rain intensifies and the water level rises, the buoyancy of the float box rises to control the valve plate, closing the outlet and stopping the discharge. Rainwater then flows into nearby rivers or lakes. When the rainfall decreases, the float box resets as the liquid level drops, reopens the outlet for normal discharge, and achieves the separation of rainwater and wastewater.

Application Fields

The Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development and the Ministry of Environmental Protection jointly carry out the improvement of urban black and odorous water bodies, including construction or renovation projects for underground stormwater collection systems or branch networks in factories, villas, residential communities, and commercial buildings, to achieve the separation of rainwater and wastewater in the underground stormwater networks and control source pollution.
