详情描述
The UHB-ZK series mortar pump is a cantilevered single-stage, single-suction centrifugal pump. Its flow components are made of steel-lined ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene, offering excellent corrosion resistance and wear resistance. It can transport slurry containing up to 80% sulfuric acid, 50% nitric acid, hydrochloric acid, and various acidic, alkaline, and salt materials. It is also suitable for various corrosive mortars in the rare metal smelting industry and mixed media in the food spray industry. The UHB mortar pump is widely used in desulfurization systems and delivers excellent performance.
1. Brief Description of UHB Corrosion and Abrasion-Resistant Mortar Pumps
The UHB-ZK Corrosion and Abrasion-Resistant Slurry Pumps series is designed for conveying media with certain corrosiveness, fine particles, or crystalline substances. Made using steel-lined ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene molding technology, these pumps boast excellent corrosion resistance and superior wear resistance. The structural design features a cantilever front-opening configuration, with semi-open impellers (without front cover plates), enhancing the flow passage and preventing particle and impurity blockage within the pump chamber. The shaft seal is a K-type fluororubber sealing ring with a cooling water jacket, meeting both corrosion and wear resistance requirements. This series is highly praised by users in industries such as metal smelting, titanium dioxide, fine chemicals, and fertilizers. Additionally, fluoroplastic lining can be used to meet specific corrosion or temperature requirements, and special non-standard models with specific flow rates and lift can be custom-made.
Section 2: Features of UHB Mortar Pumps
The UHB-ZK type corrosion and wear-resistant mortar pump is a versatile pump capable of handling various working conditions, including the transportation of acidic, alkaline clear liquids or slurry; various corrosive slurry in the smelting industry; various dilute acids in the sulfuric acid industry; and various wastewater in the environmental protection industry. This pump is both corrosion-resistant and wear-resistant, with a wide range of applications.
Features include: 1) Excellent wear resistance: All flow components are made of steel-lined ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMW-PE). The wear resistance of UHMW-PE is the highest among plastics, four times higher than that of nylon 66 (PA66) and polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE), and 7-10 times that of carbon steel and stainless steel.
2) Excellent impact resistance: The impact strength of ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene is at the top among general engineering plastics, five times that of acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS) copolymers, and it can maintain stability at temperatures as low as -196°C, a feature not found in any other plastic.
3) Excellent Corrosion Resistance: The pump can withstand various corrosive mediums (acids, bases, salts) and organic solvents within certain temperature and concentration ranges. It has been immersed in 80 types of organic solvents ranging from 20°C to 90°C for 30 days, showing no abnormal phenomena on the surface and minimal changes in other physical properties.
4) Noiseless: The high molecular weight polyethylene has a high impact absorption capacity, making it an excellent sound-dampening material. This minimizes the noise generated by liquid flow during transportation to the maximum extent.
5) Safe and Reliable, Non-Toxic Degradation: The pump utilizes ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMW-PE) with extremely stable chemical properties, making it suitable for use in the food industry.
6) Low Friction Coefficient: The pump's internal friction coefficient is only 0.07-0.11, thus it possesses self-lubricating properties. Under water-lubricated conditions, its dynamic friction coefficient is half that of PA66 and POM. When operating in sliding or rotating forms, its lubricity is superior to that of steel and brass lubricated with oil.
7) Excellent Anti-Adhesion: UHMW-PE (ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene) has excellent anti-adhesion properties, comparable to PTFE in adhesion resistance, thus performing exceptionally well when conveying media with high viscosity.
Section 3: Application Range of UHB Mortar Pump
1) Phosphatic Fertilizer Industry: Transportation of mediums such as dilute acid, mother liquor, wastewater, seawater, fluorosilicic acid containing silica gel, and phosphoric slurry.
2) Metallurgical Industry of Non-Ferrous Metals: Particularly suitable for various acidic solutions used in hydrometallurgical processes of lead, zinc, gold, silver, copper, manganese, cobalt, rare earths, etc., corrosive slurry, slurry (for use with press filters) electrolytes, wastewater, and other medium conveyance.
3) Chemical and other industrial enterprises: Positions for clear or slurry of various sulfuric acid, hydrochloric acid, alkali, and oil. Production of titanium dioxide, iron oxide powder, and various dyes and pigments. Processing of non-metallic minerals, and other industries.
4) Chlorine Alkali Industry: Hydrochloric acid, liquid alkali, electrolyte, etc.
5) Water Treatment Industry: Pure water, high-purity water, wastewater (including leather wastewater, electroplating wastewater, electronic wastewater, papermaking wastewater, textile wastewater, food wastewater, domestic wastewater, pharmaceutical wastewater, etc.).
6) Steel Enterprises: Acid pickling system - sulfuric acid, hydrochloric acid stations
7) Wet Flue Gas Desulfurization Circulation Pumps: Suitable for alkaline, acidic, and corrosive service conditions.
8) Transportation of corrosive liquids and coal slurry in the coal and coal chemical industries; pumps for coal washing and selection.

V. Working Principle of UHB Mortar Pump
The K-type power seal is primarily composed of the auxiliary impeller (or auxiliary blades) and the parking seal (rubber oil seal). During operation, the centrifugal force generated by the rotation of the auxiliary impeller (or auxiliary blades) keeps the sealing chamber in a negative pressure state, thereby preventing liquid from leaking out. At this point, the parking seal is inactive. The lip of the rubber oil seal opens due to the negative pressure, creating a certain gap with the shaft sleeve, reducing wear between them and extending the service life. When the machine is stopped, as the auxiliary impeller (or auxiliary blades) cease rotating, the sealing chamber transitions from negative to positive pressure, and the parking seal begins to function. Under pressure, the lip of the rubber oil seal tightly encloses the shaft sleeve, achieving the sealing purpose. If it is permissible for cooling water to seep into the medium, a cooling water-equipped K-type power seal can be used, which includes an external cooling water system to extend the oil seal's service life. The oil seal of this seal is made of fluororubber and is mainly suitable for conveying slurry containing solid particles, impure wastewater, and other corrosive media (the cooling water for the cooling water-equipped K-type power seal is clean tap water, with pressure suitable for less than 0.05 Mpa).
