Overview of HW Mixed Flow Pump:
The HW mixed-flow pump's flow and head range is between centrifugal and axial-flow pumps. It features a compact design, light weight, high efficiency, a wide efficient operating range, simple structure, ease of use, and easy maintenance. Suitable for conveying clean water or similar fluids, it is applicable for agricultural irrigation and drainage as well as industrial water supply and drainage.
HW Mixed Flow Pump Application: The HW pump is a horizontal single-suction volute mixed flow pump. It is suitable for transporting clean water or other liquids with physical and chemical properties similar to water. Widely used in various applications such as agricultural irrigation and drainage, industrial and urban water supply and drainage.
The HW type mixed-flow pump is a new generation product jointly designed by domestic water pump industry, and is a energy-saving product promoted and used in China's mechanical industry.
HW Mixed Flow Pump Performance:
Performance Range: Flow Rate 180-3665 m³/h
Flow Range: 3.0-20.7m
Matching power: 3-250 kW
HW Mixed Flow Pump Description:
Simple structure, reliable operation, easy installation, high efficiency, compact size, and light weight
2. Transmission methods include direct drive and variable-speed drive. Common power sources are electric motors and diesel engines. When placing an order, please specify the model of the power source (power, speed) to determine the specifications of the coupling and pulley.
3. The pump impeller rotates counterclockwise when viewed from the pump inlet (except for the 650HW-5, -7, -10 pumps, which rotate clockwise).
HW Mixed Flow Pump Model Description:

300 - Pump Inlet and Outlet Diameter (mm)
HW- Suction Shell Mixed Flow Pump
7 - Pump Design Head (m)
S-J structural form (front and rear door opening structure)
6. Standard HW-S type pumps are designed, inspected, and manufactured according to GB/T13008 and JB/T6667 standards.

HW Mixed Flow Pump Structure and Usage:
The HW and HB type pumps are mainly composed of key components such as the pump cover, impeller, pump body, shaft, shaft sleeve, and bearing housing (diameter ≤ 350MM) or bearing frame (diameter ≥ 400mm).
The pump cover is connected to the pump body and the inlet pipe. There should be an appropriate gap between the pump cover and impeller planes. Too small a gap will cause friction; too large a gap will lead to a significant backflow of pressure water within the pump, reducing its efficiency. The suitable gap for actual use is 0.3 to 0.7mm (pushing the pump shaft towards the inlet end of the pump), which can be adjusted by increasing or decreasing the thickness of the paper shims.
The shaft seal assembly consists of packing, packing cover, packing ring, and the packing box on the pump body (no packing ring for 150HW and 200HW pumps), its function is to prevent air from being吸入 into the pump and to prevent excessive water from flowing out along the shaft from the pump.
Housing is used to protect the pump shaft. It can be replaced promptly after wear.
The pump shaft is supported by a single-row deep groove ball bearing. The bearing can be lubricated with oil – the amount should be controlled between the oil level indicator marks: grease can also be used – it can be added during the assembly of the water pump. During use, replenishment is made by disassembling the front and rear covers.
Bolt holes at the top of the pump body are used for filling water or connecting to a vacuum pump for water suction.
To expand the application range of the pump and meet various customer requirements, the impeller outer diameter can be cut or replaced with impellers of different performance (denoted by letters such as "A" and so on).
HW and HB type pumps accessories include elbows, bottom valves, belt wheels or couplings, etc.
