Product Overview
High plasticity and good formability, but low strength, with good weldability. 5A02 is an Al-Mg series corrosion-resistant aluminum alloy that cannot be heat treated for strengthening. This alloy has a lower magnesium content, higher plasticity, and good formability, but lower strength than 3A21 alloy. Cold deformation can increase its strength while reducing plasticity. The alloy has good corrosion resistance and is suitable for use in marine environments. It has good weldability. Its machinability is poor in the annealed state, but can be improved in the semi-cold working cherry state.

Product Application
5A02 alloy is suitable for焊接 structures and containers requiring high workability and good corrosion resistance, such as fuel tanks, gasoline and lubricating oil hoses, connectors, flanges, and light-load parts, as well as interior decorations for ships and vehicles. The wire is used as rivets or electrodes.
