303Cu is a free-cutting stainless steel that contains added copper, sulfur, and selenium, suitable for applications that require high free-cutting properties and surface finish. This 303Cu stainless steel enhances cutting performance and resistance to high-temperature galling. It is ideal for automatic lathes, bolts, and nuts. The 303Cu stainless steel is an austenitic free-cutting, wear-resistant, and acid-resistant steel. To improve the steel's properties, up to 0.60% molybdenum can be added, making it resistant to erosion. It offers excellent free-cutting, burn resistance, and corrosion resistance.
