Product Overview

S32750 is a ferritic (duplex) stainless steel that combines many beneficial properties of ferritic and austenitic steels. Due to its high content of chromium and molybdenum, it offers excellent resistance to pitting, crevice, and general corrosion. The duplex microstructure ensures high resistance to stress corrosion cracking, along with high mechanical strength.

Application Features

S32750 is used in the oil and natural gas industry; offshore oil and gas platforms (heat exchanger tubes, water treatment and supply systems, fire protection systems, sprinkler systems, warm water systems; petrochemical equipment; desalination (demineralization) equipment (and high-pressure pipes within the equipment); mechanical and structural components that require both high strength and high corrosion resistance; flue (waste) gas purification equipment. It is an excellent steel for localized corrosion resistance in duplex stainless steels, characterized by excellent pitting resistance, high strength, resistance to chloride stress corrosion, and weldability. It is highly suitable for heat exchange equipment in the chemical, petrochemical, and power industries, which use river, groundwater, and seawater as cooling media.
