Product Overview

F55 stainless steel is a high-alloyed super duplex stainless steel with excellent strength and corrosion resistance. It boasts superior comprehensive properties and is primarily used in various highly corrosive environments. F55 dual-phase steel is known for its strong strength and corrosion resistance, mainly employed in chemical processing, petrochemical industries, and underwater equipment. It exhibits excellent resistance to chloride corrosion, high thermal conductivity, and a low coefficient of thermal expansion. Its high content of chromium, molybdenum, and nitrogen contributes to its high resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion, and other forms of corrosion.

F55 dual-phase steel can withstand various inorganic and organic acids, and the added copper element enhances its resistance to non-oxidizing acid corrosion. S32760 is also resistant to strong alkali corrosion, but it is not suitable for use at long-term working temperatures above 300°C, as the material's toughness significantly decreases at temperatures above this point.

F55 stainless steel is primarily used in neutral chloride environments, oil refining industries, petrochemical and chemical industries, chemical industry conveying pipelines, oil and natural gas industries, pulp and paper industries, urea industries, phosphate fertilizer industries, seawater environments, energy and environmental protection industries, light industry and food industries, food equipment, high-strength structural components, underwater pipelines, flue gas desulfurization, osmotic desalination equipment, sulfuric acid plants, and marine engineering fasteners, etc.

Seamless Tube: Solution treated + pickled, length available to order.

Sheet Material: Solution Annealed, Pickled, and Edged

Welded Pipe: Solid Solution Acid White + RT% Inspection

Forgings: Annealed + Polished

Bar materials are in forged and rolled condition, surface polished or turned.

Material is delivered after cold rolling, solution annealing to soft condition, and descaling.

Silk materials are delivered in solid solution pickled sheet or straight bar form, or in solid solution straight bar fine polished condition.
