304 Round Steel, also known as 304 Stainless Steel Round Bar or 304 Stainless Round Bar, a type of stainless steel round bar product made of 304 material.

304 round steel belongs to the long products category and also to the bar category. Stainless steel round steel refers to solid long bars with a uniform circular cross-section, generally about 6 meters long. The specifications are indicated by the millimeter number of the diameter, such as "Φ50," which means a round steel with a diameter of 50 millimeters.

Surface

Generally, it can be divided into 304 stainless steel bright round (abbreviated as 304 Bright Round, 304 Bright Bar, or 304 Stainless Steel Silver Bright Bar) and 304 stainless steel black round (abbreviated as 304 Black Bar or 304 Stainless Steel Bar).

304 stainless steel bright round bars refer to those with a smooth surface, produced through processes such as fine rolling, peeling, or cold drawing polishing; commonly used in various chemical, food, textile machinery, and for certain decorative purposes. The so-called 304 stainless steel black round bars or 304 stainless steel bars (black bars), on the other hand, are round bars with a black and rough surface, which are directly hot rolled, forged, or annealed without any surface oxidation layer treatment.

Production Process

304 round steel is categorized into three production processes: hot rolled, forged, and cold drawn. The specifications of hot rolled 304 round steel range from 5.5 to 130 millimeters. Among them: Small 304 round steel with diameters of 5.5 to 25 millimeters is usually supplied in bundles as straight bars, commonly used as rebar, bolts, and various mechanical parts; or it can be supplied in coiled form as semi-finished products for further processing. 304 round steel with diameters greater than 25 millimeters is mainly used for manufacturing mechanical parts or as billets for seamless steel tube production.
