I. Applicable Scope
This unit is primarily designed for the evaporation and crystallization of solutions with precipitated crystals, widely used in the chemical industry, metal mining smelting, large steel mill acid pickling waste liquid treatment, and power plant wet flue gas desulfurization waste liquid treatment.
Section 2: Working Principle
High-salt wastewater refers to wastewater with a total salt mass fraction of at least 1%, primarily originating from chemical factories and the processing of oil and natural gas extraction. This type of wastewater contains a variety of substances, including salt, oil, organic heavy metals, and radioactive materials. Its chemical composition is complex, with a high content of organic matter, such as organic solvents, organic acids, esters, ketones, phenols, etc. Due to its high salt content, it is difficult to treat directly using biochemical methods, and the physical-chemical treatment process is complex, with high treatment costs. It is widely recognized in the wastewater treatment industry as a challenging type of wastewater to process. High-salt wastewater evaporators are designed to address the high salt content and concentration characteristics of such wastewater. They utilize the principle of evaporation concentration and crystallization, employing multi-effect, MVR, and forced circulation to concentrate and crystallize organic wastewater. After separating the salt content from the concentrate, it is recovered through a salt concentrator. The concentrate is then dried or incinerated for recovery. The condensed water after evaporation is typically treated through subsequent biochemical processes to meet wastewater discharge standards.
Section 3: Processing Techniques
Wastewaters come in various types with diverse characteristics, and there are numerous treatment methods available. Jiaqiang Company's wastewater or sewage treatment methods are based on the characteristics of the feedstock, utilizing either ① a multi-effect evaporation process, or ② a multi-effect evaporation + drying process, or ③ a multi-effect evaporation + crystallization process to treat wastewater or sewage. This ensures that the water separated through evaporation meets national discharge standards, and the moisture content of the dried solids is below 15%. The challenges in wastewater and sewage treatment are to achieve the national discharge standards for treated water while also reducing treatment costs.
