Fire door production qualifications are the licenses granted by the state to fire door manufacturers to produce such fire protection products. Manufacturers must produce products that meet specific standards within the scope of their qualifications to be considered qualified. If a manufacturer lacks production qualifications or produces outside of the scope of their qualifications, the products produced are不合格 and cannot pass fire inspections. So, what are the differences in production qualifications among various manufacturers?
For most standard fire door manufacturers, the production qualifications are limited to dimensions within 2.1 meters wide and 2.3 meters high; the majority of fire doors sold in the market fall within this size range. Why is this the case? It's because, before the new fire safety standards were implemented, manufacturers would arbitrarily produce products based on customer requirements. Fire doors with very large dimensions, if produced using conventional techniques and materials, would pose significant safety risks. After realizing this situation, the relevant national authorities recalled the production qualifications for oversized fire doors. Standard fire door manufacturers can only produce products within these dimensions, and only manufacturers with high capabilities and both hardware and software conditions meeting the requirements can produce and sell products exceeding 2.1x2.3.
