Fire-resistant cables are designed to maintain safe operation for a certain period under flame combustion conditions. China's national standard GB12666.6 (equivalent to IEC331) categorizes fire-resistance tests into two levels: A and B. Level A involves flame temperatures of 950~1000°C with a continuous flame supply of 90 minutes, while Level B has flame temperatures of 750~800°C with a continuous flame supply of 90 minutes. Throughout the test, the sample must withstand the rated voltage specified for the product. Fire-resistant cables are widely used in high-rise buildings, underground rail systems, underground streets, large power stations, and important industrial and mining enterprises, among other places related to fire safety and firefighting rescue, such as power supply lines and control lines for firefighting equipment and emergency guide lights.

Two, Characteristics of fire-resistant cables:


(1) Insulation and sheath materials: 70℃ and 105℃ types; Cross-linked polyethylene insulation: 90℃.

(2) Fluoroplastic Insulation and Sheath: Two types available, 220℃ and 260℃; Fluoroplastic Insulation with 105℃ Flame Retardant Sheath: Two types, 90℃ and 125℃.

(3) Low-halogen, low-smoke flame-retardant PVC insulation and sheath: 70℃; halogen-free, low-smoke flame-retardant polyolefin insulation and sheath: 90℃ and 125℃ options.
