Steel Wire Armored Cable WDZ-KYJY33 Low-Smoke Halogen-Free Flame Retardant Cable – This low-smoke halogen-free flame retardant cable is difficult to ignite and has the ability to prevent or inhibit spread. Moreover, once ignited, it features halogen-free, low-smoke, non-toxic, and non-corrosive properties. Suitable for high-rise buildings, hotels, hospitals, subways, nuclear power plants, tunnels, power plants, mines, oil, and chemical industries.

Low-smoke, halogen-free, fire-resistant cables, in addition to meeting the characteristics of low-smoke, halogen-free, flame-retardant cables, also maintain the ability to supply power under fire conditions. They are mainly used in power supply lines for fire alarms, fire-fighting equipment, smoke extraction systems, and emergency exit lighting, among other emergency facilities, where fire resistance is required.

Two, flame-retardant rating and product performance of low-smoke halogen-free cables:
According to the test conditions specified in GB/T18380.3-2002, flame-retardant low-smoke halogen-free cables are classified into four grades: A, B, C, and D.

1. Rated voltage U of the control cable. / U is 450/750V.
2. The cable is designed for continuous operation at temperatures not exceeding 90°C.
3. The installation environment temperature should not be below 0℃.
4. Minimum Bend Radius for Cable Installation
Low-smoke, halogen-free, flame-retardant, fire-resistant control cables: The cable without armor layer should not be less than 6 times the cable outer diameter, and the cable with armor or copper tape shielding structure should not be less than 12 times the cable outer diameter.

III. Cable Structure:

Conductor: Bare copper wire or tin-plated copper wire, solid-core, multi-core braided, or fine strands twisted into bundles, compliant with GB/T 3956 and IEC 60228 *** class (Class A), Category 2 (Class B), or Category 5 (soft structure).

Insulation: Polyethylene (PE), Cross-linked Polyethylene (XLPE).

Armored sheath: Double steel strip or galvanized steel wire armor, galvanized steel wire braid armor, or copper wire braid armor (the braid density of the layer is not less than 65%).

Shielding Layer: Braided bare copper wire or tin-plated copper wire, wrapped with copper-plastic or aluminum-plastic composite tape, or a combination of braided copper wire with aluminum-plastic composite tape shielding.

Housing: Low smoke zero halogen flame-retardant polyolefin.

Core Wire Identification: Color marking or white numbering printed on black core wire.
