A steam tube rotary dryer is an improved indirect drying process equipment, which is formed by arranging steam tubes on a traditional direct heat transfer rotary dryer (drum dryer). In this setup, steam serves as the heat source, while the tubes act as the direct heat transfer surface in contact with the material.

Compared to traditional direct heat rotary dryers, the steam tube rotary dryer boasts the following advantages:
