The model consists of a container, helical mixing blades, and transmission components: The helical blades are typically made in a double or triple layer configuration. The outer helix collects the material from both sides towards the center, while the inner helix transports the material from the center to the sides, creating a convective mixing effect.


Screw blade mixers are generally used for mixing sticky or cohesive powdery materials, as well as for blending liquids and paste-like substances with powdery materials. Due to the difficulty in cleaning sticky materials, they are suitable for high-volume production scenarios where product types are not frequently changed.
