SMC Sheet Molding Compound Machine Applications and Features

The SMC sheeting machine is primarily used for the production of unsaturated polyester glass fiber reinforced sheet molding compounds. It involves impregnating glass fiber yarns with a polyester paste that has been mixed with resin, fillers, pigments, and release agents, and then covering both sides with a thin film to form a "sandwich structure." This results in "sheet molding compounds" that can be rolled or folded, and can produce sheet materials with different strength requirements using glass mat, glass cloth, and oriented yarns.

The SMC sheet machine is easy to operate, offering both manual and automatic modes. In manual mode, operations can be performed individually as required, while in automatic mode, a single button controls the entire machine's operation.
