A decanter is a specialized wastewater treatment equipment that removes supernatant liquid in a top-down displacement manner, allowing treated clear water to be decanted from the surface during the drainage phase, making it a key piece of equipment in the SBR process. It can also be installed in a "regulating sedimentation tank" to introduce settled clear water into the reaction tank at a constant flow rate, ensuring stable treatment effects. The XBS type rotary decanter is widely applicable to the treatment of urban wastewater and various industrial wastewater, such as papermaking, brewing, and leather manufacturing.

Operating Principle:
The rotary decanter is composed of a decanting device, skimming float device, rotating bearing, transmission mechanism, and sliding bearing. The driving unit descends from the idle starting position to the water surface at a constant rate according to a certain speed ratio. Under the guidance and traction of the sliding bearing, it moves the decanting device and weir downward, continuously discharging the supernatant from the reaction pool through the carrier pipe to outside the pool until the designed water level depth is reached.

A float trap plate is installed at the outlet of the weir, ensuring that the water quality reaches its best state during operation and that the water level below the weir remains undisturbed.
