Notice: Certification and Re-certification Exam for Non-metal (PE) Welding Operators of Special Equipment in 2025, 1st Session

Regarding the 2025 Special Equipment Non-metallic (PE) Welding Event

Notice for the 1st Phase of Certification and Re-examination for Operators

All concerned parties:

The Shandong Provincial Institute of Standardization will, in accordance with the "Regulations for the Examination of Special Equipment Welding Operators" and relevant provisions of the provincial and municipal bureaus, conduct examinations for candidates participating in the first batch of certification, re-examination, and additional items of non-metallic welding (PE) operations for special equipment in 2025, from January 13th to 16th, 2025. Please ensure your timely attendance. The following are the relevant matters concerning the examination:

I. Assessment Arrangements

(One) Exam Schedule for Theoretical Examination

Date: January 13th, 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM.

Location: Shandong Provincial Institute of Standardization (No. 9, Shandong University Road), 1st Floor, Room 106, Computerized Exam Room.

(II) Practical Examination Schedule

Date: January 13th, 8:30 AM - 16th, 6:00 PM.

Location: Shandong Provincial Institute of Standardization (No. 9 Shandong Road) Non-metallic Welding Laboratory.

Section 2: Exam Requirements

All examination items for participants are self-prepared; the examination authority does not provide any examination item samples. Details regarding quantity, size, and quality standards are provided in Attachment 1.

Applicants must report to the lobby on the 1st floor of Building No. 9, Shan Da Road, by 1/12 and sign in; failure to do so will be considered a withdrawal from the exam. Please bring your ID card, admission ticket, and acceptance notice to submit at the time of reporting.

3. Participants must strictly adhere to the "Examination Room Regulations." They should arrive 20 minutes prior to the exam, as indicated in the "Examination Notice," carrying their ID card and admission ticket, for verification and not be late without a valid reason.

Students are expected to adhere to all examination disciplines,自觉 comply with the supervisors' management, and must not hinder the supervisors in performing their duties for any reason. They shall not disrupt the order of the examination venue or other examination work locations. Violators of regulations and those who cheat during the exam will be dealt with in accordance with relevant provisions.

During the exam, candidates should take personal safety precautions and it is recommended to wear masks throughout.

6. During the exam period, accommodation and meals will be arranged centrally; all expenses are to be covered by the participants.
