Drum Shredder

The drum chipper series is equipment for processing wood chips. This product is widely used as a pre-material preparation stage equipment in industries such as particleboard factories, medium and high-density fiberboard factories, straw factories, biomass power plants, and wood chip factories.

This product features an advanced structure, high-quality cutting material, and excellent material adaptability, with easy operation and maintenance. The primary raw materials for cutting include small-diameter wood, logging and processing residues (such as branches, twigs, bark, strips, core logs, and waste boards), and can also be used for cutting non-wood materials (such as sugarcane, reeds, and bamboo, etc.).

The drum chipper is composed of the main body, cutting roller, upper and lower feeding rollers, conveyor belt, and hydraulic system. The main body is made of high-strength steel plates and serves as the supporting foundation for the entire machine. The cutting roller is equipped with two, three, or four flying knives, which are secured to the roller using special flying knife bolts and pressure blocks. Depending on the thickness of the material being cut, the upper feeding roller assembly can float up and down within a certain range with the help of the hydraulic system. The qualified chip material falls through the screen holes and is discharged from the bottom, while larger chips are further cut within the machine.

Hydraulic System: Supplied by a pump to the cylinder, it can activate the cover for easy blade replacement; during maintenance, it can lift the upper feeding roller assembly to facilitate adjusting the gap between the flying and bottom blades, as well as the disassembly of the comb plate.
