Porous bricks |
Ceramic permeable bricks are made by screening and selecting ceramic raw materials, organizing a reasonable particle gradation, adding a binder, and then going through the molding, drying, and high-temperature sintering process to form permeable building materials. Compared to ordinary permeable brick products, the differences between the two can be understood from the following aspects. 1. Excellent Permeability: The ceramic permeable pavers feature a rational particle gradation, allowing for quick passage of rainfall from light to moderate intensity. 2. High Strength: The product is fired at a high temperature of 1200-1300°C, with the bond formed by the physical components of the particles melting and cooling together, resulting in an extremely high strength, typically exceeding 45 MPa. 3. Excellent frost-thaw resistance: Due to the large inter-particle pores and sintered bonding, it offers good resistance against freezing and thawing in northern regions. It effectively solves the problem where permeable cement permeable bricks fail in frost-thaw resistance, while bricks with good frost-thaw resistance are not permeable. 4. Excellent Anti-Slip Performance: The ceramic permeable paver has a rough surface with large particles, allowing for quick water penetration. Post-rain and post-snow, there is no accumulation of water or formation of ice layers, ensuring good anti-slip properties. 5. Excellent eco-environmental performance: Can produce using ceramic waste, sewage sludge particles, waste refractory materials, and over-fired gangue, etc., industrial waste materials, and is reusable. After crushing, it can be re-fired into bricks. Common Permeable Paver: Made of porous concrete material formed from ordinary crushed stone, this product is used for general street pedestrian paths and squares, serving as a standard paving option. It does not offer the advantages of ceramic permeable pavers in terms of permeability, strength, aesthetics, or lifespan. The comparison between the two is quite evident. Ceramic permeable bricks have a clear advantage, not only boasting high permeability but also serving as excellent building and refractory materials. Moreover, they are recyclable, making them an environmentally friendly type of tile.
