EDI Ultra-Pure Water Equipment - Pure Water Treatment Process - Purified Water System Maintenance and Care

Ultra-pure water has a resistivity of 18.25 megohms and any ions, TOC, and particulate matter impurities are close to zero, making it highly pure. Due to its lack of impurities, its ability to adsorb them is much stronger than that of ordinary water. The cell membrane acts as a semi-permeable membrane, with concentration differences represented by the concentration of the external solution and the cytoplasm. When the external concentration is lower than that of the cytoplasm, cells absorb water and swell. Therefore, when an ultra-pure water with a very low concentration surrounds the cell membrane, there's a possibility that the cell may burst due to excessive water intake. Of course, in real life, drinking ultra-pure water would not cause the cell membrane to swell and burst because the human body contains many enzymes and mineral elements, which quickly dissolve and oxidize the ultra-pure water once it enters the body.

Flowmeters are categorized into float-type and electromagnetic flowmeters. One type uses a float in the meter's pipe to gauge flow, while the other relies on electromagnetic induction. In terms of accuracy, electromagnetic flowmeters are superior. In a pure water system, there are many points where flow needs to be assessed to understand their operational status, such as determining the raw water flow and pressure at the system's intake, which allows for convenient adjustment of the intake valve. Excessive intake flow can decrease the desalination rate of the reverse osmosis membrane, while insufficient flow can reduce the yield of pure water. It's also crucial to know the flow rates of pure water and wastewater after the reverse osmosis system to adjust the membrane's desalination rate promptly and protect the RO system. The downstream EDI and terminal units also require knowledge of their respective flow rates.

Process Description:

The pretreatment employs four stages: mechanical sedimentation filtration, carbon adsorption filtration, cation softener, and post-security precision filter. The RO components use imported American or South Korean reverse osmosis membranes. The main contents of the automatic operation of reverse osmosis include: high and low pressure automatic control; automatic shutdown for no water or water overflow; scheduled automatic discharge of concentrated water; online water quality automatic detection; automatic alarm for non-compliant water discharge; scheduled chemical cleaning indication; fault alerts, etc.

Performance Introduction:

(1) The reverse osmosis system is controlled in an automatic manner, featuring imported components for high stability and simple, convenient operation.

Equipped with a dedicated thick water regulating valve for easy operation.

(3) Equipped with ultraviolet and membrane filters to prevent bacteria from affecting EDI and water quality.

(4) Ensure stable water quality during short-term or long-term system downtime through professional technical measures.

(5) Utilizes original imported EDI membrane stacks for stable performance and long service life. Continuous water output maintains consistent quality without fluctuations. Patented "full-filled" concentrate chamber eliminates the need for salt addition and concentrate recirculation.

(6) The EDI flowmeter in the ultra-pure water equipment uses a magnetic induction float flowmeter from the German import brand Steba, which can prevent damage to the membrane stack caused by no concentrate water production due to clogging of the concentrate water channel or other equipment failures.

(7) Equipped with various safety features including moisture protection and high/low pressure protection.

(8) All controls are fully automated, featuring imported main components for high stability and easy, convenient operation.

(9) Primary electrical components are sourced from Schneider in France, ensuring quality and quantity, and designed according to specifications.
