Equipment Overview:
Nanofiltration is a membrane separation technology that lies between ultrafiltration and reverse osmosis. It retains molecules with a molecular weight between 200 and 1000, with pore sizes of a few nanometers. Since this membrane retains approximately 95% of molecules about 1 nanometer in size during the permeation process, it is called nanofiltration. Owing to the superior characteristics of nanofiltration separation technology, it shows great potential applications in fields such as essential, biochemical, and food industries. One significant feature of nanofiltration membranes is that the membrane itself is charged, which is an important reason for its high desalination performance at low pressure and the ability to remove inorganic salts from membranes with a retention molecular weight of several hundred.

Reverse Osmosis (RO) Principle:
Nanofiltration (NF) is a pressure-driven membrane separation process that falls between nanofiltration and ultrafiltration, with the pore size of the nanofiltration membrane ranging around a few nm. As a new type of membrane separation technology, the technical principle of nanofiltration is similar to mechanical screening.

Process Flow:
Membrane concentration equipment is typically categorized by different membrane elements, such as microfiltration, ultrafiltration, nanofiltration, and reverse osmosis experimental equipment; crossflow experimental equipment; tangential flow filtration experimental equipment; and multi-stage membrane experimental equipment. The system operates in a fully enclosed pipeline, is made of sanitized stainless steel, ensuring a safe and hygienic work environment, meeting GMP or FDA production standards.
