EDI unit, ultra-pure water equipment, electrodialysis desalination equipment, customizable as required, Quankun

An EDI unit is a membrane separation technology that combines electro dialysis with ion exchange. It combines the advantages of continuous desalination by electro dialysis and deep purification by ion exchange resins, while overcoming the original drawbacks of these two separation techniques. Electrodeionization (EDI) technology is a new type of membrane separation technology formed by the combination of electro dialysis and ion exchange. By utilizing the ion exchange action of the ion exchange resins and the selective permeation of cation and anion exchange membranes for cations and anions, under the action of a direct current field, ions migrate in a directional manner, achieving deep desalination of water. As ion exchange, ion migration, and the electrical regeneration of ion exchange resins occur simultaneously, it's akin to a mixed bed ion exchange resin column that works and regenerates at the same time, enabling the continuous production of high-quality pure and ultra-pure water.

This system design incorporates the EDI module produced in the USA, featuring the following characteristics:

Ultra-pure water solutions for power, semiconductor, chemical, metallurgy, and general industrial sectors.

(2) Continuously produce ultra-pure water with mixed-bed process and superior quality.

(3) No acid-base regeneration is required for the mixed bed resin within the module

(4) Leak-proof guaranteed

(5) No need for brine injection and concentrated water recirculation, simplifying system design

The equipment features the following characteristics:

High level of automation, stable operation, capable of unattended production.

2. Water quality is stable, meeting the requirements of various experiments for water quality.

3. Compact in size, with minimal footprint, ideal for use in laboratory settings.

4. Easy maintenance and long service life.

EDI Unit Ultra-Pure Water Equipment Electrodialysis Desalination Equipment Custom Made by Quankun

Operating Principle:

Water enters the purification system, with the main part flowing into the resin/membrane interior, while the other part flows along the template's outer side to wash away ions that have leaked through the membrane.

2. Retain dissolved ions in water with resin.

3. Ions retained are moved toward the positive electrode by the electrode's action, while cations move toward the negative electrode.

4. Cations pass through the cationic membrane,排出树脂/膜之外。

5. Anions pass through the anion membrane, being expelled outside of the resin/membrane.

6. Concentrated ions are discharged from the wastewater stream.

7. Deionized water flows out from the resin/membrane.
